Jessica Hardy, RICP®, CSSCS
Jessica’s Pushpin: In her home, Jessica has a world map marked with three different colors of pins—one for her, one for her husband, Scott, and one for their son, Franklin. Their family pushpin is to fill that map with as many pins as possible, discovering new places and making memories together along the way.
Managing Partner | Sr. Wealth Advisor
Jessica’s passion for finance began at a very young age. As a child, she collected historical coins and watched her father and grandfather improve their clients’ financial lives through their work as accountants. Inspired by their example, she knew early on that she wanted to help others manage their finances. That path led Jessica to a career as a financial advisor, perfectly balancing her love of money management with her desire to make a lasting difference in people’s lives.
Early in her career, Jessica’s mother, a schoolteacher, was preparing for retirement. Determined to put her mom in the best position possible, Jessica immersed herself in the intricacies of teachers’ retirement plans and how to maximize their benefits. She built a customized plan for her mother, then extended her expertise to her mom’s friends and colleagues. This experience gave Jessica unique insight into the challenges and opportunities facing educators and their families—particularly high-earning professionals who want clarity on how a spouse’s pension fits into their overall financial strategy. Today, she is known for her deep pension expertise and as one of the most trusted advisors in helping families design cohesive retirement income streams.
Jessica joined the financial services industry in 2005 and continues to build her team at Cetera Investors. Over the years, she has earned her Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations, as well as her Life & Health Insurance license. She has also obtained the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) and Certified Social Security Claiming Strategist (CSSCS) designations, credentials that reflect her specialized skill in retirement income planning and Social Security strategies.
Raised in Glendale, CA, Jessica later moved to San Diego, where she graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Math and Economics. She lives there today with her husband, Scott, who shares her love of numbers (they even gave calculators as wedding favors), and their son, Franklin, who is the light of her life. Together, they enjoy baking, exploring their city, caring for their vegetable garden, and, of course, stopping for ice cream treats. Jessica also volunteers at Franklin’s school with the Garden Club, where she helps spark joy for gardening and healthy living in children.
